1. Introduction

PostMind AI ("we," "our," or "us") is an AI-powered social media publishing tool operated by OKCL. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can have it deleted.

We do not collect or process any payment information. PostMind AI does not take card details, bank details, or billing addresses, and we do not operate a payment system of any kind.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you register, we store your username, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.

2.2 Social Media Account Information

When you choose to connect a social media account, that platform sends us information after you grant permission. We never see or store your social media password. Specifically we store:

Facebook / Instagram: your Facebook user ID, name, email address, profile picture URL, an access token, and the ID, name and picture of the Facebook Page you select for publishing, together with that Page's access token.
LinkedIn: your LinkedIn member ID, name, email address, profile picture URL, and access and refresh tokens.
X (Twitter): your account ID, screen name, profile image URL, and access tokens.

Access tokens are credentials that let us publish on your behalf. They are used only to carry out actions you have asked for, and never to read private data unrelated to publishing.

2.3 Content You Create

We store the captions, prompts, images and videos you generate or upload in PostMind AI, along with your posting history: which platform each post went to, its ID on that platform, its scheduled time, its status, and any error message if publishing failed. This is what lets you review, reschedule and manage your posts.

2.4 Usage Information

We record a count of the AI generation requests made by your account so we can monitor service capacity and prevent abuse.

3. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you and maintain your account
To generate captions and images using AI, at your request
To publish or schedule content to the social media accounts you have connected
To show you your post history and the status of scheduled posts
To diagnose failures and keep the service running reliably

We do not use your content or your social media data for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.

4. Use of Meta Platform Data

Information obtained through Facebook Login and the Instagram and Facebook Graph APIs is used solely to publish content to the Facebook Page and Instagram Business account you explicitly select. We comply with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We do not transfer Meta platform data to any data broker, advertising network, or other third party, and we do not sell it.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these situations:

Social media platforms: we send your content to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or X when you ask us to publish it there.
AI providers: the text prompts and image prompts you submit are sent to our AI providers (including OpenAI and Google) purely to generate the content you requested.
Legal requirements: where we are required by law to disclose information.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. Access tokens are removed as soon as you unlink the relevant social media account. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently erased from our systems, as described below.

7. Your Rights and How to Delete Your Data

You may at any time:

Unlink a social account — use the "Unlink Account" button on the Link Accounts page. This immediately deletes the stored tokens and profile details for that platform.
Delete your account and all data — see our Data Deletion Instructions.
Access or correct your information — contact us using the details below.

Deleting content from PostMind AI does not remove posts already published to a social media platform. Those must be deleted on the platform itself.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. All traffic to PostMind AI is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.

9. Children's Privacy

PostMind AI is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above always reflects the current version.
